Affordable recycling - Fashion and Make-up

Shopping is fun, but becoming broke is not. This is a dilema many girls face today, but this article is here to help. So, what can we do, how can we save the environment, whilst keeping that extra money in our pocket? How can we find cool, retro clothing, shoes, jewellery, blankets and just about anything else, without blowing our budgets? The answer is simple, right there in front of us, the answer is......
                                      OP SHOPPING!

I love op shopping. It's affordable, fun, don't blow your budget recycling! Not only do I get more for my dollar, but I save resources and recycle at the same time. Op shops are also great for finding materials for DIY projects. As of late, op shops have become much more popular, though many people seem to be mixing up op shops with shops that sell vintage fashion. Vintage and recycled fashion stores send out people to find vintage, designer clothes at op shops, then bring them back to the store and sell them for double. I still support these places because after all, they are still recycling good clothes, but they take the fun, the mystery and the adventure out of op shopping. In order to become and op shopping, environmental, recycling queen, there are some tips you must know;
1. Give yourself time. In order to find something good at an op shop, you must take time, whether it's 30 minutes or 4 hours, you need time.
2. Don't stress. It's ok, op shops can be a stressful environment, it's hard to know where to go, what to buy. Remember, if you are a beginner to op shopping then it's best to take a master (maybe me?) with you in order to get what you want.
3. Try to not get lost. By this I don't mean literally lost (though that is a terrible experience and I advise against it), I mean find what you set out to look for and then venture into the vast unknown sections. Try to avoid getting distracted by certain sections or you really could be lost. (If you are just browsing then go wherever, it's fun to get lost in an op shop..... sometimes).
4. THIS IS THE GOLDEN RULE: Have fun! This is meant to be a fun, environmentally friendly thing to do, not a death sentence.
I hope this helps everyone out there save money, be environmentally friendly and find unique, one of a kind fashion.
